Leaving a game counts as a loss from now on
We’ve been listening to your feedback, and it’s inspired us to make some changes to ensure fair play in every game. Last week, we rolled out new rules that will make sure everyone has a great experience. No app update needed!
What’s New?
Loss on Leaving: If you start a game but leave before it ends, it’ll count as a loss. It’s like leaving the field before the final whistle—you’re still part of the match, and the score counts.
No XP: If you disconnect mid-game, you won’t earn any XP, but your game count will still go up.
Win Streak Reset: Quitting mid-game will reset your win streak to zero. This keeps it fair for everyone!
Fair Play Score: Each time you leave a game early, your fair play score will increase by 1 (up to 10). Right now, this score is internal, but soon it’ll be visible on your profile.
Why This Matters
We’re committed to making Pidro fun and fair for all players. We get it—sometimes life (or your internet) gets in the way, but every game should count from start to finish. These changes help ensure that everyone has a fair shot.
What’s Next?
We know you’ve been waiting for updates on the gold cards and that new ad. We’re already working on the gold card fix, and we’re making sure the ad won’t cover your team player anymore. Thanks for your patience—we’re on it!
Thank you for being such an awesome community. Your feedback helps us keep improving Pidro, so keep it coming!
